Let’s talk 👋 Feel free to say hi, or ask a question using our contact form below. Send any mail art or ATCs to the address below! To get your FLAG, Micro Gallery or other related interactive-public-art-something listed on this site, simply fill out the google form at this link: https://forms.gle/sozcLtyXuWdwXWak8
It’s totally free, and yes, we’re expanding to include the whole world! Thanks!
How long does it take for me to get the listing posted? Sometimes it will take a few days to a week. Sometimes I’ll get the listing up the same day – I’m a volunteer here and balancing keeping up this site with being an artist a curator of a micro gallery. I’ll email to let you know when you’re listing is live!
What we List on the Find a Free Little Art Gallery Website
We list primarily Free Little Art Galleries and outdoor micro galleries, organized by country, region and state/province. When we started, we set out to list FLAGs, and since then, there’s been a bit of a boom in outdoor micro galleries and also combinations – there are some FLAGs out there that are sometimes locked, and display-only, and sometimes unlocked, and it’s a FLAG. We’re happy to list micro galleries and have begun to include those in the state/province listings, along with the FLAGs.
We also list supply cabinets, such as those for sharing art and craft supplies, yarn, handmade ink, and the like. If it’s connected to art and creativity, we’ll list it!
What about sidewalk joy?
The PDX Dinorama account has sidewalk joy covered pretty well – those are generally exchanges that are not in a box – such as exchange centers for mugs, key chains, Matchbox cars, painted rocks, plastic dinosaurs or rubber duckies. (I love all of it!)
If you have a FLAG and a sidewalk joy type exchange, we’ll totally list that as part of your listing. If you have only the sidewalk joy thing, you can add yourself to the Sidewalk Joy Google Map. No need to duplicate efforts too much!
